The Haight St clinic probably takes Medi-Cal and some other hospital walk-in clinics like UCSF. No private practice doctors will take Medi-Cal. I am in CA and have a specific managed care plan for Medi-Cal which several counties do. I dont know if S.F. has that.

Some private practice Drs. take Medi-Cal, you need to call around to find them; it's always been like this. I don't know if you're on straight medi-cal or the other but I know straight medi-cal is much better.
