Is it practical and safe to live in downtown bellevue, WA when you're planning to work in Overlake Hospital?

Completely. Downtown Bellevue is one of the nicest areas in Washington. Its a really upscale community, with cops patrolling the streets constantly looking to maintain the peace in the community. You really can't get a safer neighborhood then downtown Bellevue. The crime rate is ridiculously low, schools are truly amazing, and the dog park that is so incredibly friendly. Realistically you can walk to work from any part of downtown Bellevue. People are superfriendly in this neighborhood! Its my neighborhood!

I agree with Kim! It's a fantastic area and very close to Overlake...no hassle commute!
