Founded in 1922, San Jos Clinic is a nonprofit hospital that offers a variety of health care services. It provides specialized services in the areas of cardiology, dermatology, neurology, internal medicine, orthopedics, pediatrics and gynecology. It additionally offers surgery, emergency, home care and hospice, rehabilitation, behavioral health, nutrition and weight management, pathology, alternative medicine and transplant services. Located in Houston, San Jos Clinic maintains a team of volunteers and organizes various health awareness campaigns. It is a ministry of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. In addition to attending to the health care needs of uninsured individuals and families, San Jos Clinic sponsors patient-centered events that embody its guiding principles to offer advocacy, compassion, dignity, leadership and service to others.
