Below, I have listed three sites. TWO of them direct you to the Health and Hope Clinic in Pensacola, FL. It is FREE for anyone who lives in Escambia county and has NO insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, etc. All personnel are volunteer doctors, nurses, aids and generally just GREAT people who are there to help. You DO NOT have to be Baptist. Also, The Escambia Community Clinic is NOT the Escambia County Health Dept. My 26 year old daughter went in there, saw a nurse practitioner for $68.00 and then qualified for free assistance through their program. You'll have to ask them about the application. She received excellent care, prescriptions for low cost medication and although I was told there is sometimes a long wait, the personnel we dealt with that day was great. Our reason for going there was due to the fact that it was a weekend and the other clinic was not in until Wednesday. The Health and Hope Clinic would be my first recommendation to you. Just north of 9 mile road on Chemstrand. Good luck to you and I really hope this helps. I was in your position and was blessed to find this clinic right after they opened a few years ago. Oh, they also help you get connected with the major drug companies that will supply your medication for free if you qualify. Please call them...(850)479-4456. Keep calling and they will call you back or just go there when they are open.
