I too have no insurance. I did have alot of cavities as well but got them fixed at a free dental clinic. You should see if the town you live in or a nearby town has a free or low cost dental clinic. The destists there are not some med students looking to fill an intern position. They or atleast the one I got to, are all well established dentists who volenteer part time or retired distists. This is a great alternative to many expensive dental offices. If you live in RI or surrounding states I will be happy to give you some local info.

Hope this helps..

Call up your local community centre or other facility that deals with people that are struggling financially. They may be able to hook you up with a dentist that will do work for free for those who qualify, or perhaps at some kind of discount.

At the very least, you can call up your local dentist to ask for advice. Many will offer flexible payment programmes to help you finance this kind of stuff.

I would encourage you to visit this great site: www.healthsavings.ourperfectcard.com I signed up online over 5 years ago now and they have saved me thousands on all services. From root canals, xrays, fillings, extractions...etc. Even my braces. They even had my very affordable plan active in 2 hours and was able to use them the very same day. good luck and hope this helps.
