Oh hell yes, but not because of "evil" but because even though a kid just gets out of med school and know he got his little Resident position. (They give them the MD) behind their name so they can begin to practice. When people die by accidents in hospitals. Theres ppl called "Risk Management" that come up to the floor (before the family is told) the suites meet with the white coats and they say to the family "Im sorry, but your child died of complications of surgery". period. The king thing in L.A. has ME REALLY PISSED OFF. I've started a yahoo group called Hospital Reform. Feel free to check it out but I've just begun. Thanks

Of course they do. The system is not set up to heal the sick its to make money. When it comes down to choices and decisions that is they way they error is on the side of money. The negligence and things that result of greed...understaffing, inferior education, patient over crowding, just to name a few. They all suffer from the motto of "people who live in glass houses should not cast stones". They protect because they don't want anyone digging in their closets.
