They sell these in the cafeteria there, and they are chocolate, probably no-bake, and kind of round, kind of flat. I asked the cafeteria for the recipe years ago, but they wouldn't give it to me? I was moving from Bismarck, so it was weird.

I don't know the recipe from the hospital, but this is the recipe I use (it's my Great-great grandma's recipe)!

No Bake Cookies:

2 cups white sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 lb. butter or 1/2 cup Crisco
3 cups uncooked Oatmeal
OPTIONAL
1/2 coconut
1/2 chopped nuts

Mix sugar, butter, cocoa, and milk in sauce pan. Cook over high heat to a fast boil

Remove from heat and add peanut butter, oatmeal, and optional ingredients. Blend thoroughly together. Drop by tablespoonful onto wax paper

Enjoy when cooled!
