My son is in the process of getting official papers together for a job in China. He is required to get a stamp or seal on his hospital records, but all the hospitals he has checked so far only use letterheads.

Your son needs to contact the place that is requesting the documents and clarify what will satisfy the requirements.

Most, if not all, hospitals have a notary on staff. That may be all that is necessary.

The hospital records come from the actual hospital where he is/was treated. If they don't use a seal, then they don't. It isn't going to do any good to find an alternate hospital, if that is not where the records originate.
