Why does every poll show that the American people do not want Obama's healthcare plan?

It is because most Americans can tell it's a scam. Remember the saying, "if it sounds to good to be true, then most likely it's not." And "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me." We have been fooled once on the banker bailout and now this health-care bill. Wise up folks...how many times are you willing to get scammed???

Because our Gvt has yet to run anything efficently.

I work and I maintain healthcare and when I want to see my Dr. I don't have to wait long. I don't want to be put in a situation where I have to wait too long to see my Dr. and wait even longer to see a specialist.

I also don't need them passing laws to further infringe upon our freedoms since the gvt is now paying health insurance. Like outlawing fast food because you may get fat or banning Cigs since smoking bad for health and your under gvt insurance.

Basically I don't trust the Gvt.

I am with the people who don't want THIS plan, but when more than 40% of Americans want Obama's plan, you can't say the Ameircan people don't want it.

Now, sadly, I think many want Obama's plan because they want SOME plan. "Something must be done. This is something. Therefore we must do it."

But this isn't the "something" we must do.

We need tort reform and we need to allow insurance companies to compete across state lines. Those two things would improve things substancially!

Because people are finally WAKING UP to this ideologue knucklehead and the social cant tax you enough liberal Congress/Senate

Of the polls you quote here, two of them are right wing polling organizations known for push polls which favor a predetermined outcome.

I'd love to see something like an RCP average on this issue, since most people would love to know that they could have a serious illness without going bankrupt.

treatment or 3 or 6 months or more to see a Doctor even if it a life or death for you to wait. then Obama health care is for you.

People fear what they do not know and instead of reading about Healthcare for themselves. They chose to beleive the negative points about it and it scares them and the spending. So no surprise here.I still support the President and hope he continues to at least try to do great thing. I just love him.
