Hi, I recently decided to quit teaching and now I want to pursue my studies in nursing. Do you think it's better to earn your BSA or just get your RN Associates? Do you think it makes much of a difference in whether you get hired or not?

Actually, I've been looking at the same thing, although I am not currently a teacher. Do you already have a BS, or is your degree a BA? I believe that the UT program has a fast track for folks who already have their BS in another field, and will still result in a BSN. Also, did you know that the Baptist Health System offers nursing education? They now have night and weekend courses to help out those that still have to work days. This seems to be the best option for me, once I have the money saved up to pay for courses~ Good luck!
