The position you are looking for is called a Patient Care Technician, and that is where the hospital trains you to do the same things as a CNA, but you are not a CNA. A CNA is a certification issued by the state, however, hospitals can legally train their own, they just can't call them a CNA.
Call the HR and ask them if they have training programs to be a Patient Care Technician.

I would just call your local hospital and ask human resources if they hire nursing assistants without their certification. My guess is that they don't, but what do I know ;)

No hospital hires non-certified nursing assistants. Too risky, untrained employees might harm/kill someone with inexperience and lack of knowledge. Medicare also will not pay work performed by unqualified employees.
