Actually, doctors that work in Lenscrafters are usually indepedent-- they just rent space from Lenscrafters. I worked for a doctor's office in a Lenscrafters, and they had their own business name, employees, payroll, etc. They were the best doctors in the area (Lafayette, LA) and had the biggest patient base. It really just depends on the doctor and how well he/she communicates with patients.
