Although Western Hills Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is a new business, we have deep roots in the Western Side of Cincinnati, following the tradition established by the late Robert T. Gallagher, M.D. who opened his practice on the West Side in the early 1950s.Dr. Robert Gallagher began his practice at the corner of Boudinot and Harrison Avenues. Business quickly prospered, prompting a move to a larger site at Glenmore and Daytona Avenues under the new name of Western Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, Inc Dr. Gallagher's enthusiastic nature and love for his life's work attracted several other physicians to join his group, including Tasleem A. Minhas, M.D. and Robert's son John. The practice soon expanded to accommodate the Harrison region of Ohio ( with many years of practice at the Harrison Medicenter ) as well as eastern Indiana.John M. Gallagher, M.D. is now continuing his father's vision with a new ( but similar ) name and a new ( yet close ) location on Muddy Creek Road. Together with Dr. Minhas and his entire staff from the Glenmore office, Dr. Gallagher has recreated the efficient, yet warm and friendly atmosphere which made the former Glenmore location so popular with its patients.
