Since 1979, Centers for Sports Medicine has served professional and non-professional athletes and performers of all ages and abilities. Whether the sport is ballet, mall walking, hiking, softball, swimming or marathon running, this center strives to help patients improve and maintain skills and recover from injury. The staff of specialists includes board-certified physical therapists, orthopedic surgeons, primary care sports medicine physicians, podiatrists, psychiatrists, dance specialists, nutritionists and sports psychology counselors. Counseling is also available for nutrition and exercise, bone and heart health, weight and eating disorder issues, and pre- and post-natal health. Centers for Sports Medicine is part of Saint Francis Memorial Hospital, and has other sports medicine centers located in San Francisco and Corte Madera.
